a collaborative clay studio

Inside the studio are a row of potter's wheels, canvas-covered tables for handbuilding and an area for glazing.
A plethora of shelves are organized intuitively enough for you to find everything you'll need for a day with clay. Tools and equipment are at the ready and a teacher or guild member are there to help you find your way. We offer electric, raku and smoke firings. Gas firings will begin in the new year.
Clean surfaces for drawing, papermaking, print-making, etc. are availalbe for those who want the community, the sunny space, but not so much of the dirt.
Outside is a woodworking bench and a well-stocked tool shed. Safety equipment and guidance by a teacher are required for the use of power tools. The garden area will be available for planting come springtime.

a multifaceted art studio

Six Senses is a bright, sunlit studio with a jungle of a big back yard.
It is a warm, welcoming environment where your creative juices can't help but flow.

Accompanied by other artists and art students, sometimes buzzing with lively conversation and humming with activity, at other times empty enough to hear the silence or fill it with soft music, there is no hint of a lonely dark basement in this studio. The indoor and outdoor space is roomy enough to spread out, lively enough to feel inspired, friendly enough to rub elbows with a smile, homey enough to curl up comfortably with a cup of tea and a friend.

Welcome to our community!
